Thought this would be the best place to post about my (very) slow burn Greek Fantasy project. I want to make a more fantastic version of the mythology/genre/setting/trope. As I posted elsewhere this is basically a love letter to things like Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, Titan Quest, God of War, etc. While being myth/fantasy oriented already takes it out of the realm of historical, I also intend to mix styles/tech levels within the broader Bronze Age period. So the history buffs in here might see things that I intend to use together that were separated by hundreds of years in reality.
Enough waffle, I suppose. lol Here is where I am at with stuff currently:
Barbarian

Light armor, tower shield, and spear.
Athenian "Paladin"

Since Paladin doesn't really fit the setting I think I will go with something like "Devoted of" instead. Heavy armor and 2H mace. Owl theme since she worships Athena.
I have Cyclops (Ogre), Storm Titan (Storm Giant), Hekatonkheires, Hydra, Cerberus, and Minotaur ideas for now. I also will do something to be equivalent to traditional fantasy races, sort of. Faun instead of Elf, degenerate humans instead of Orcs, and so on.
For the rules I will likely use Goalsystem Delves with the campaign stuff from 5 Leagues from the Border with the appropriate adjustments for theme.
I also have some Hoplites (Victrix I believe) and some Wargames Atlantic Skeletons and will add those here as I am able to finish any of them. This is all pretty slow burn and will most likely be largely the 3D sculpting though since I can do that a bit in my down time at work.
I would love to hear any thoughts that you folks might have for me.
Thanks for stopping by.

Looks terrific. I’m really interested to see what else you come up with.

Nice! I wonder though if you pose the Amazon will the [metal] cuirass twist as the torso twists?

You could have that problem if you didn't set the sculpt up in pieces. I have the armor separated into its individual parts, so that while the body will bend and twist (in the proper places of course) the armor parts will just be moved to where they would be on the posed body. I hope that makes sense. Essentially pose the body, then position the other pieces is how I do it.
Sorry about the reply delay. Thanks everyone for dropping a comment.
