Title: How do Bluemoon Tombstone 28mm civilians scale with DMH Plastic Cowboys
Post by: zemjw on October 19, 2021, 08:34:53 PM
My brother in law has got bitten by the cowboy bug recently, so I'm thinking about buying him some civilians for Christmas.

The Blue Moon/Old Glory ones look promising - link (https://www.oldgloryuk.com/the-wild-west/41/139/383/394). They're the BMM-512 set on that page.

However, he has a couple of boxes of the DMH plastics (https://www.greatescapegames.co.uk/online-store/dead-mans-hand-plastic-gunfighters/dead-mans-hand-gunfighters-plastic-boxed-set-great-escape-games-) (amongst other things), so I want to avoid having giant civilians amongst tiny cowboys (or vice-versa).

Does anyone have the two sets, or know of any pictures of them together so I can get an idea of relative sizes?

Thanks

They won't be giants if they're Bluemoon figures. No Cowboys I'm afraid, but I did purchase their 'Viking casualty set' to decorate my casualty markers. They're pretty slender compared to a Victrix warrior!
If you think it will help I'll take a couple of piccys for you?

???

Thanks for the offer, but I'm happy just to know they'll fit without too many problems.

I get the "everyone's a different size" argument, but it still looks odd on the table to see The Rock/Kevin Hart (or Arnold Schwarzenegger/Danny DeVito for those of us of an older age) standing side by side.

However, I'll avoid derailling this thread, so shall leave it at that :D
