Title: Erithereans?
Post by: Grumpy Gnome on October 21, 2021, 02:45:17 PM
How many Erithereans are generally needed?

What do folks think about these elephant folk as Erithereans?

I doubt you'd need more than one or two in scenarios where they're showing up as random critters (they don't show up on the table much) but their "Graveyard" scenario sort of calls for one per player, with a small chance that some might never show up (they appear the first time each player rolls a 5 or less for initiative).

I've been using Reaper's Avatar of Strength for the one I've got, although my paint job's not quite up to the catalog version:

Well, there is always that small chance that you keep rolling the same critter over and over again, but my usual solution to that is to proxy or re-roll rather than try to collect enough for everything.  I had one game where three giant worms showed up off of five treasures being opened - that was loads of fun.  Should have played the lottery afterward, my local probability field was clearly off-kilter.

Same here. You cant prepare for every possibility anyway.
