Hi All
I have just received a pack of these:
https://www.empressminiatures.com/them15-2772-p.asp (https://www.empressminiatures.com/them15-2772-p.asp)
I see the THEM range includes camels derived from eBob sculpts, and I have some of eBobs originals, so scale/size wise I imagine they should be compatible
but they look huge.
I know mules were bred in different sizes
but
what do we think?
Cheers

JJ, they are all beautiful sculpts indeed, as is the entire range. I cant tell the size without seeing them next to some of the other companies figs though.

They are lovely sculpts, no doubt about that. They are the size of horses
which is likely correct.
Heres a photo from my blog.
The THEM15 mules are in the middle, with eBob camels at the back, and the mules from the Empress water wagon set (ZWB79) on the right.

Those mules look good to me. As you said, they come in different sizes. There are some on farms around here that must have draft horse in them, they're tremendous.

Aye, for what it's worth, the Mules at the Donkey Sanctuary in Devon dwarf the donkeys by a country mile and are "proper horse" sized
-
All good, thank you.
I think the larger beasts are destined for my Naval brigade Gatling gun battery, to be joined by Cpl Thomas Edwards. The smaller ones
not sure yet
I plan to convert the camels to carry a disassembled RML 2.5 screw gun.
Cheers
