I have recently had a number of photographs of my Anglo Danes and Early Byzantines picked out by the inimitable Charles Grant for the Wargames Annual 2022.
It is available from Caliver Books here:

I've included some very large files taken for the shoot and not featured in the Wargames Annual which can be seen on my Just Add Water Blog here (I had to reduce the files to half size for Facebook so if you do want to see the pictures, warts on all, you will have to head over to my blog):

Cheers Fred, the images I've posted are the "rejects" and not the images in the book :)

So the ones in the book are even nicer, then!

Yeah, the best of a selection I sent to Charles.
I might be biased but I think they have come out really well. Images of our toys look so much better in print than on the net IMHO- though, of course, I would say that lol

Very, very nice pj's. Never bought a Wargames Annual before but it might be interesting.

I've got a copy of this years (obviously) and last years. I haven't had a chance to read this years yet but last years had some great articles in including, my favourite Second Battle of El Teb in the Sudan for Kevin Calder's Up the Nile rules.

When I was sent last years annual it really took me by surprise. At first I had thought of it as being filled with quite random stuff- I was wrong. It'.s a well planned and executed work with the extra added dimension of serving as a reminder (to some of us from a certain generation) of the annuals of our youth! :)
