Prompted by a friend who needed one also for my Dieppe forces:
The ubiquitous LCA. Problem is 28mm heroic Vs 1:56... You can fit about 6 25mm based infantry in it where as they carried 36!
-
Saw the file on Wargaming 3D, very nice and a good way to split the print for small print beds.
-
Nice!
Not a complete solution but I wanted to suitably fill a Rubicon LVT, so I kit bashed some spare Warlord and Perry figures, the ones in more erect poses, and group mounted them on some plastic card, painted the same colour as the vehicle floor. Not quite a full complement but it does make the LVT look a bit more busy and of course it’s removable.

Trouble is that when seated there is a reasonable amount of room. Apparently the seating was considered a luxury when compared to the LCP Higgins boats!

And I think the original designation is Landing Craft (Assault), hence LCA.
-
No you are correct, it's Landing Craft Assault. I was mixed up with my Landing Craft Tank (armoured) lol
It was originally Assault Landing Craft but the changed it to line up with the US designation.
Just need some drawings of the Landing Craft Personnel (Large) now...

And the LCP(R).
I will check some of my books tomorrow ( very late here for an oldie).

There's the old 40K ork solution, it carries as many as you can fit on it and any that fall off are casualties. :P
