Title: Wilkinson's Campaign Update - Reverend Jenkins' Mission

After a false start in September, we finally managed to play the next game in our Darkest Africa Campaign. The Arab slavers didn't make much of the situation and in retrospect I really should have used the tribal units more effectively. Unfortunately for the slavers, Wilkinson managed to get his gunboat on ahead of schedule. The model is scratch built by my friend Dan and really looks the business.

That there be Two! termite mounds, at least?  Wunderschon.

That there be one lonely Cape Buffalo (who knew there was buffalo tipping, too!  lol)?  Just tragic.  (get that beast some friends, I say.)

Otherwise a fine looking couple of games.  Is Wilkinson a German name?  Seems that is the German Imperial eagle on the flag.  (Of course, maybe I didn't read far enough on the blog to get the answer.)

Lastly, great to see a recent African AAR posted up here on this page.

Another cracking good adventure! Beautiful terrain and minis, what a visual treat. I really enjoy your AAR’s and look forward to the next one. I just went back to the begging and reread the campaign set up and intro pages. Brilliant!
