Mike Wilkins and I have started the Silver Bayonet campaign from the book.
Our first game was last night. It was chaos and mayhem, great fun.
I won, using the Reward points as the measure, I got 6, Mike got 5 because even though Mike discovered the Hobgoblin at the top of a ladder, in the scramble to kill it my Doctor got it with his sword.
The first pic is the tabletop as laid out by Mike. The central clue is at the bottom of the well, that was not recovered because you had to wind the bucket. Anther clue is at the top of that ladder, that was the Hobgoblin!

The first picture is of my Unit.
The second is the huge cloud of smoke that we used to show Mike's Volley gun blasting my group crowding through the gate.
The third is my infantryman shooting Mike's man off the ladder he was climbing (tee hee)
The fourth is one of my Infantrymen taking on the Hobgoblin. I used the Cannibal figure from the Dracula's America range as the Hobgoblin in this game.

Brilliant table and minis. Sounds like you had fun!

Nicely done.

Scenario 2 next Thursday.

Very clever hiding spot for the Hobgoblin, no one ever looks for them on rooftops!

Wonderful game table and miniatures!!!

A beautiful looking game

Game 2. Mike won by killing everyone of my figures. Damn.
The main clue was right in the center of the board, both our Units duked it out to the death to grab it. Oh, and the 5 revenants were all in there as well. Chaos.

That sounds like an awful lot of my Frostgrave and Ghost Archipelago games. The creature AI tends to produce big scrums in the center of the board unless players work to avoid it.

Another great looking game Nick.

They are, and it's no credit to me. It's all Mike Wilkin's terrain, I just show up with my Unit.
Mike was frustrated this week though. He'd scratch built a bunch of Napoleonic revenants to use, and left them on his painting desk. Luckily, just as I was leaving for the Rose & Crown where we play I thought 'I'll bring 8 Oathmark revenants, just in case...'
It's the Troll next time, I've got him all ready.

That's a great troll, Nick! Where is he from?

Great looking game. One of the best uses of a pre-printed mat I've ever seen.

It's an Oathmark Troll, not released yet. Coming in December. This one was painted by the designer of the Troll Michael Anderson. (He made the barrow as well.)
