I've got a Blog. I'm sorry  ::)

I've done it so a couple of friends can keep track of my projects now they've moved away. It makes them easy to track that way apparently.

Have you tried adding powder paint to the mix rather than acrylic ?

Yep, the poster paint was tried in both powder and liquid.

From doing some searches on the Hirst Arts forums etc it seems the only thing that actually works properly with no real side effects is cement pigment (or proper plaster colourants of course). At the end of the day cement and plaster work in similar ways so it makes sense that the stuff used to colour cement works well on plaster too. Only problem is it only seems available around here in black and red and comes in several gallon cartons.

Can you not find a friendly cement works worker and buy him a pint for a jam jar full (red & black mix might give you a muddy brown) ?

Very nice labyrinth. I am currently experimenting with HirsArts again but have a problem as I'm quickly running low on dental plaster. I am surprised how quickly one hits the bottom 20kg box. I have no ready supplier so a searching...

Yeah, my 25kg tub is starting to look a bit difficient. Next time I'll order some coloured plaster though I think.

Malamute - there is a vague possibility that I could get this done before BLAM. No idea what game could be played on it or with whose figures though :P My relevant figures are either in storage, unpainted or both!

however the packages have to be small
