In my opinion, yes. There are some scale differences to take into account but then Games Workshop has been inconsistent with their scales in the Middle Earth line anyway.

Yes-ish. As Grumpy Gnome says, LotR is inconsistent in scale, so it's hard to say for sure yes or no. There is also personal opinion to take into account, where one person's fine is another person's unacceptable scale difference.

I think a lot of LotR things could be used and go in the same forces as Oathmark units, but I probably wouldn't mix the plastics together for example. Eowyn leading a unit of Oathmark human infantry though? Works absolutely fine.

I only have the Oathmark dwarves. They are considerably larger than the GW LOTR plastic dwarves. In fact they are as tall as my Warlord Games Roman legionaries.

I thought the received view was that Oathmark goblins work perfectly with GW LOTR orcs, but that most of the other ranges wouldn't work terribly well. Nord has a review of the Oathmark goblins with LOTR scale comparisons here (https://paintsngluenrocknroll.blogspot.com/2017/12/oathmark-goblins-review.html).

It all really depends on how sensitive you are to scale.

As Dadlamassu says the Oathmark Dwarves are bigger than than the GW Dwarves. That can be a pro or a con depending on your perspective. Dwarves are not clones and there is plenty of diversity possible in Dwarven culture depending on where they are from if nothing else.

GW is inconsistent in their own line from the original pretty much 25mm Perry sculpts of the Last Alliance Elves and Numenoreaons to some of the later and much chunky sculpts, particularly recently.

For Mrs. GG and me, Gripping Beast/Oathmark/Fireforge/Victrix Dark Ages minis work fine next to GW Rohan on the table but if you are meticulous you will see scale differences… which to us reflect human diversity.

It really is in the eye of the beholder and what exactly you are trying to portray. Each sculpt has its own aesthetics when it comes down to just how muscular the figure is or how oversized the weapons are. And your tastes may evolve over time. I am more sensitive to oversized weapons now compared to how I felt a couple of years ago.
