Title: Medals lost and found, A Hill Called WHite Horse (book review)
Post by: vtsaogames on December 22, 2021, 08:10:36 PM
Gents, my father-in-law sent me another installment of his stories of the Korean War, this one mostly afterwards. He also sent me a book about a battle he had a part in back in '52. I reviewed it here.

The Battle of White Horse doesn't get much coverage in English because the main weight of the three-division Chinese offensive fell on the ROK 9th Division. This book is mainly about the US Army forward observers who were imbedded with the ROKs. It was a gnarly fight.
