A good start to the gaming year; a Minoan victory over Lee's Egyptians. Figures Newline and Magister Militum 10mm, buildings Leven 6mm. Crocodiles on the island Pendraken.

A few more. Apart from enjoying a victory, I was glad to see that this army could actually beat the Egyptians, who usually wallop it.

Superb eye candy FK, and well done on getting a win, probably the last of the year!! lol

Super cool!
What do you think allowed you to pull off the win with the Mycenaeans this time?

Impressive!

Bogey table gave us good omens; Lee underestimated the speed her chariots could advance at, so ended up with too little support; I was lucky at several critical moments (apart from having a very favourable melee go pear-shaped, resulting in the loss of half my chariots and having the Great Achilles measure his length on the ground); and I think Lee had a few under-supported units which gave me a decisive edge in casualties caused.
