Boat mounted version to follow

Didn't think that was a typo. I always ♧ seals when I go past the plushies in the store.

Brilliant stuff

If you club seals Greenpeace will be after you :o
-
very nice painting especially like the jeans!!
-
Surely not!!!! lol
Great painting as always :-*

Wasn’t that a Belinda Carlyle/ Go-Gos song? Albert the Seal?
“Doesn’t matter what they say
[something unintelligible]
Hey, hey, hey
Albert the Seal”.
You’ll struggle to convince me otherwise, it’s how I remember it anyway.
Nice work on the minis btw.

Really Good - well done :-*
-
Great job, the denim looks particularly good.
-
Cheers, all 8)
Denim is 'easy' - just add tiny amounts of Vallejo Stone Grey to any old medium blue. And keep layering up by adding it until the mix is almost neat Stone Grey. Just try to keep the seams the neat base colour.
-
That's the best post title I've ever seen (figures aren't bad either ;))
-
Lovely work on those SEALs. They def look the part.
But we must exercise caution here - given the nature of a few of the posts, PETA and/or the ASPCA will flag this thread....Presumably, no seals were harmed in the making of those figures... 8)

Well, in terms of painting, it gets my royal seal of approval, FWIW. ;)
-
They are very nice (both model and your paint job), they look suitably serious. I am really tempted by Nam skirmishes.
I met a seal once (pinniped not BTF) when out bodyboarding in big, interesting surf in South Wales. Nice chap, no understanding of personal space but charming.

Ba-Dum-Tish!....

They are also fascinated by yellow fins.
Nice painting by the way, and thanks for the denim method.

The Perspex base was custom cut by the highly trained Oompa Loompas at Warbases 8)

Fantastic!

Nice addition to the ♧.
-
Now that looks good. But remember, "Never get off the boat..."... :D
-
At first glance at the first photo of the boat I asked, "But where is the driver for when they 'get off the boat'?" And then, there he his hiding in the second photo. Pretty lonesome drive back to base or stand-off station while waiting for the patrol to return though. Maybe we can imagine an engineman below decks who will pop up?
Very nice work.

outstanding :-* :-* :-*
