Hello,
I wanted paint some Sturmtigers, but the miniatures wasn't in my habitual shop, and the money burned my hands lol. Finally I bought two Tigers!. In this tanks I have used like brown camo, a mix: chocolate brown and red. At the start, I thought "la he cagado" (= Fuck!), because the color was very very red. However, when I used washes and filters the red/brown camo seemed right. Opinions?

Hey, Westphalia Chris you're tigers are superb for what I'm assuming is 15mm. Keep up the good work. You're moving in the right direction and you're instincts were acting in your favour.

They look fine to me. That "red brown" becomes almost fire engine red in some late war examples, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. They look -awesome- to me:)
I love Sturmtigers. I usually like "wimpy" tanks, but the Sturmtiger is an exception. Good luck getting some - I look forward to seeing how you paint them!

Hello,
Thanks you for your comments!
And the other hand, IMO I need use other green color to "green camo". My current green color is very light!

The red-brown looks fine to me. As mentioned, there is no single "right" shade for German panzer camo, most was applied in the field and varied a lot.
