As many can confirm, there is one thing in particular what a brave warrior craves during a rest in between battles: Beer!
The most famous beer in 28mm is of course Bugmans', but to me the official beer cart seems a bit small to quench the thirst of armies:

So, that's how I came up with the idea of building a bigger, and so better suited, beer cart of Bugmans' beer brewery!

I'll drink to that! lol lol lol

First sketch of what I have in mind. Not sure yet what animal(s) may pull this big keg full of liquid joy & jolliness:

but you all will have to wait untill the finished piece to find out ;)

So, here we go:
I picked two coffeecups to be the base of the keg, cut them to the desired size and glued them together:

Then I was distracted by the 3d printed wheels which had come in the mail, and decided to cut them out of their superfluous plastic bits: (the croc won't be the puller of the cart, so it dares to come take a look at the proces)

Keeping up with the coffee corner bits, I'll be using coffee stirrers for the planks of the keg (which got its shape from coffee cups.. I think there is too much coffee in this post and way to less beer o_o). Anyways, to bend the stirrers in the desired shape, I'm using rubber bands.. but I'm now regretting I'm just bending them at the moment, and have not yet put glue underneath... Ah well..

Anyways, lot's of words and pictures, but not yet much to see yet. It's a slow start (but hey, at least it is a start!)
-
Nice start :)
Did you use water to soften the coffee stirrers before bending?
-
Nope, I did not, as I was afraid if they'd get too soaky they might have broken the coffee cups maybe.. So it's all down to the magic of the rubberbands
-
That makes sense.

A little update, as the deadline is near (I've done this quite a while ago, just didn't get to upload the pictures and post on here. Besides that, I've done more in the meantime, but didn't take pictures of that yet. So long story short, here's a n update, but the progress in it is not recent and doesn't refelct the current state)

I glued the wood on to the coffee cups-made base. I filled the gaps between with wood filler.

I glued some sticks together, and cut two circular shapes matching the ends of the keg.
These are now attached. So, all I have to do is making the cart and paint. Well, and pray the beats which will pull the whole thingy will arive in time :)
