With much relief I can say: hard pass.

I've got zombicide 2nd edition and I was extremely happily surprised with the gameplay. Not the most cerebral game out there (heh, BRAAAAAIIINSSS) :D, but very good fun.
I'm also a huge Marvel nerd, but already have plenty of crisis protocol.

But the offer just isn't worth it. I'd be in it for the heroes and it doesn't seem to be nearly enough to be worth it to me, seeing as I'd already have most of them and they and mcp models aren't compatible. Not even for the independent rules I plan on using the models for.

Most of al, while I enjoy the occasional romp through the marvel zombies universe, to me it's one of the most depressing settings there is. Personal taste, of course.
There's just something about seeing the heroes I grew up with either being devoured or turning into monsters that makes me not want to spend too much time in such a setting.

There's a Marvel Zombie Universe?!!!!!  :o

Dare I ask "WHY?".

It was a bit of a side-plot in the ultimate universe.
The ultimate FF was asked for help by (yet) an alternate Reed Richards because their version of earth was overrun.
What started as just a story in an ongoing series, turned out to be quite popular so they decided to tell the story of that universe.

It's pretty gruesome, with beloved characters dying and committing utter atrocities because of "the hunger".
I liked it. I love zombies/horror and marvel, but like I said: I really only want it in small doses as it's also more depressing to me than a normal zombie story.

What you can do if you have a multiverse at your disposal.
It's also a big plot in disney+ "what if" series if your interested.
Both are just some alternative storylines without much, if any, effects on the main continuity.

I have most of the Zombicide games, skipped the space one, but I am on the fence with this one. I would like to see the scale of the minis. I also have hundreds, if not thousands, of Heroclix to use for superhero games so I do not feel the big push for this one. I also have the last giant Heroclix Galactus as well which dampens my enthusiasm.

I went all in on this one.

Not only gives it a huge load of Marvel minis (both in normal and zombie style), I also like the rules as far as I have read them.
I even digged into the Marvel Zombie  comics, I have to say I liked them!
