Finished another unit of Polish ‘Winged’ Hussars, this one using 28mm figures from Warlord Games.
The figures are packed with details, and were a challenge to build and paint, but the end result is, I think, glorious.
More pictures, and information on the Warlord set, on my blog here : https://theviaregia.blogspot.com/2022/01/even-more-husaria.html

Aye, I've seen those on Twitter. They look proper nice. The yellow and red is a very nice bit of change from most other hussars you see. Also - that eagle flag just looks great. As do the furs and everything really. Really nice. I'd love to do some 17th century in 28mm some time. These look proper nice.

Flamboyant :-*
Super job on those Andy. The animal skins work very well, and the pennons. The basing is great too.

Lovely looking unit! 8)

Very nice painting, but for the future, there are flags of Hussar banners known (not many but there are) and modern polish coat of arms is not a way to go :P
If I can propose something:

Thanks, AWu👍
This is my 4th unit so I’ve used a number of the better known flags already but I take your point about the flag used here.
I plan on doing another three units so good to think about some future flags. I really like the first one you show, don’t think I’ve seen that one before. Already used the second. The third looks a bit like a lance pennant. I have a set of those for a future unit. Just bought some more flags and pennants from Wargames Designs so hoping these are a bit better.
