I have been following the discussion about this year's BSC and had planned to make this a bit earlier but forgot. Fast forward a couple weeks and I nearly forgot about the start date cutoff. I have a couple of ideas that I want to further consider over the next few days before I get started. Among them right now is a train station, an inn/bar, and a tomb. More to come.

Good luck.

How about a bar in a tomb? Mummies need to drink their wine in the afterlife too.
Hope to see you make some progress.

Interesting feedback chaps lol. It's been a busy time for my work and private life lately, but I'm working on refining a design so I can get cracking during the evenings this week. Pretty much decided on throwing out the train station idea - it's the biggest thematic stretch I'd say. I'm playing around with a couple of ideas for an inn or restaurant to go with the urban row houses I have. There will be an actual update soon to prove I'm actually working on something o_o

With a shade under a week left before submissions are due I haven't been completely derelict. I had a bit of a delay in getting supplies, but I've been moving forward on a sort of urban mediterranean hotel. I wanted something that would have a nice footprint and be suitable for a variety of eras. The walls have been erected out of styrene, with a few areas where the plaster is damaged showing through to cut stone. It's rather monolithic in its current state, but I'm fabricating windows and other details to give it a bit of relief. I've textured the styrene with a Rustoleum texture spray, something I find works nicely on mdf and plastic. It's been a busy time and there's not too many days left until the deadline, but I'm not going to say I won't complete the project yet. Here are a couple pictures from the construction process until now. Cheers.

Unfortunately I shall have to withdraw. My schedule refuses to cooperate with the looming deadline. I'll finish the build later when I'm not so busy and post it at that time. Cheers chaps.

Shame.
There MIGHT be an extension, would that help?
If not, I would like to see it finished sometime.
