Title: Stargrave in the Warzone universe
Post by: swiftnick on January 25, 2022, 12:49:16 PM: We have recently started to put together forces for a campaign set in the Warzone universe. Quite happy with Stargrave at the moment for skirmish games but will look at something else for larger battles, possibly Konflict 47.

Our introductory game featured 3 crews one of Viridians ( i know), one of Bauhaus and a scratch crew led by Johny Alpha. The mission was to track down an infamous data smuggler and retrieve the info for the Mishima corporation.

This sector is very quiet for some reason.

What's wrong with this guy? Looks like the sector is overrun with the undead. The crews will have to deal with them and then check the heads for a data chip.

These figures were already built when I got them. I am not sure if you are meant to clip off the equipment from the backpack or just leave it?

Post by: eilif on April 29, 2022, 04:43:26 PM: Really enjoying seeing these old Warzone figures getting new life in a new game. As to your question about the Militia, they are designed to be used as-is hanging off the backpack, but I've trimmed and re-used a fair number over the years glued directly to minis or to other packs.

Nice quick-paint scheme also. I do the color-and-dip myself for most figs.

Post by: swiftnick on March 24, 2023, 01:11:21 PM: The second game involved a boarding action on a small ship carrying a Brotherhood inquisitor and his entourage. Unfortunately the Imperial attackers failed their initiative roll so the defenders had a chance to get into defensive positions. As the attackers boarded their leader was caught in a crossfire and quickly succumbed. The rest of the crew fired back wounding a guard and the inquisitor. The inquisitor moved into range and used Psionic fire to take out two attackers. The rest of the attackers were quickly shot down.
