Hello,
I am just curious...
What, if any, miniature lines would capture the Dwarf units for the Battle of Brenna from the Witcher novels.
Thanks

Providing you steer clear of the GW Warhammer style "barrels with feet" I would think any any of them.
My suggestion would be to pick from the Hasslefree and GW Lord of the Rings Dwarves.

The Witcher is more 14th-15th century feel for armor and weapons. Is that correct, I have not completed all the books.
With that I would be looking at more plate armor HYW era styles?

It might be a little later than what you're looking for (more early-16th century Renaissance looking) but would the Assault Group dwarfs work? I remember in the books there's some Landsknechts at Brenna so they could potentially fit in in a pinch

Midlam miniatures do a selection of dwarves in heavy plate I think they are the old metal magic miniatures.

If you're willing to wait a bit, Fireforges Stone Realm Dwarves will be spot on for the Battle of Brenna.
They pretty much capture the look from some of the early art/sourcebooks in that they actually wear proper plate/leather that looks more late medieval and aren't overly Norse.

Any previews of the Fireforge line?
Thanks for the info

Some previews in the kickstarter updates if you can see them. It seems they are in the process of approving factory test frames, so it'll be a bit longer before they ship. I don't quite know why, but I bought a whole load of kits in that kickstarter.
