Finished some 20mm Soviet tank riders for T34s.
These are 20mm AB Figures (painted by Rafa in Spain), and T34s are Plastic Solider Company - with detachable tank rider bases, created by clear plastic bases with pins to fit into small holes drilled in the tank decking.

The detachable bases are a great idea. Consider that idea
stolen, ummm borrowed.

Ditto!
Great job on those t34!

The T70s are great! See them very rarely on the tabletop despite looking quite iconic.

some Soviet WW2 scouts, now in need of some motorised transport...

Will you please share the color palette you are using for your armor. I quite like it.
-
fabulous brushwork on those, the removable tank riders is a good idea!

Excellent production line you have running there.

Cracking work Simon.
Good to see someone else veering eclectically around from late medieval, to ECW, and then WW2 (and no doubt back again) lol
Keep those plates spinning ;) A change is as good as a rest and all that.

Hi Bill
I used AK Interactive paint set for Russian 4BO. I used the base and then highlighted with Light Base.
Gave them a gloss varnish
Applied the decals
Then washed with MIG Brown Wash for Green vehicles.
Then a black pin wash.
Then added some rust and grime streaks.
Final matt varnish
Hope that helps?
I dont usually paint AFVs and I'm still getting the hang of the finicsh I wnat.
cheers

Those T34s are really good who makes them?

Latest additions - Gaz trucks (PSC) with comms cab (S&S Models).
Just some recon to do next.

Delicious Soviet madness. Keep em' coming.

More good looking vehicles, but the T34s are sweet. But I'm kinda partial to tanks...

More great work. I really like the colors you've chosen for your Soviet vehicles.

Something to knock out the Soviet AFVs...had the crew hanging around for ages, so good to finish off.
needing more used shell cases I think.
Simon.

Nice paint job there.

Very nicely done Simon :)

Your work on these models is amazing.

Lovely work on those camouflaged jackets. :-* :-*

Those guns and crews are rather special, love the camo. Awesome result.

A tow for the German Pak 40 and a Soviet Forward Observer team.
thanks for all the kind comments,
Simon
-
Awesome and beautiful work across the board.
-
Those guns look good, for sure. How many empty shell casings there rare would be dependent on how far into the battle they are... ;)
-
Wow, nice thread.
-
I love that radio team and your amoeba camo!
