And they're off! :D
These are some pretty nice entries already!
Good luck to all three :)

Nice work guys! All are very usable pieces on the table.

Well done guys.

Great entries, well done guys.

Weird as this may sound, I think the thing that most impresses me about Aircav’s magnificent build is that he has modelled the lead flashing around the chimneys. It’s the small details that bring things alive.
-
Aircav's paintjob has in my view really done the impressive construction justice, enough colour and contrast to make the details stand out on the tabletop but grimy enough to still be a slum.
The Cossack camp is a lovely natural looking and versatile bit of terrain. I bet it will not just be Cossacks that end up passing by!
Those Vietnam bunkers look appropriately solid and dusty and the basket ball bucket is a great touch.
Well done all.

Excellent work all :)

Love all three of these, and the one very minor criticism of Aircav's entry is it isn't grimy enough.. also, more washing lines. :)

Besides Mick, out of all the membership of LAF (how many is that?)

Yours is good mate, would certainly love to see it as a display or on a gaming table.

The basket ball bucket is a very nice detail, you have finished your entry and you have a very useful piece of terrain for a lot of games, so its a clear win.

Thank-you all for the kind comments.

The slums came out on top in this one, so congratulations to Aircav, and also Mick and Dolmot for super entries which I'd like to have come up with myself. On to round two.
