This is a Dixon rendition of Big Bill what y'all think of the brushwork?

That's nice. 8)

Brushwork´s mighty fine. The horse model looks a bit... scrawny? Scruffy? Lost a bit for words. More like a bloodhound picking up a trail than a valiant steed.

I like highly contrasted paintwork. Not the best picture, but wild Bill seems to look very good!

Yea I know the photo is not up to scratch the high contrast is the photographers take on it not mine. Overall use your imagination. Oh and I wish I'd taken photos of him but time overcame me. Had to get them to Trev Dixon that fast.

Great looking figure. Nice detail, clean, crisp and very well based. Thanks for sharing.

Painted quite well. Something a little funny about the horse makes me think it has been rode hard.

Luverley brushwork! ;D

Nice, yes the horse looks a little old,I think characterful :)
-
Beautiful work. Horse looks appropriate for someone like Bill, too. An old, reliable nag.
