I started off with a range of generic 'somewhere North / East / A bit west of Suez' buildings in foam before I realised that checking that they fitted my Really Useful Boxes would be a good idea, so the next photos will include the results of cutting some of these down a bit. 28mm chap for scale.

After painting.

The mysterious citadel.

A few more WIP. There's more been added since. Not sure what the little tower is, but I saw one in a photo.
-
Very nice but they do look like they might take up a bit of storage space, something that I find myself thinking more about these days.
-
They do indeed. 15mm was so much easier - a whole village in one box.
I underscale the floor plan of buildings (plus it matches the range rules better) and now use magnets to attach upper floors and towers.

They are cracking buildings 8) 8)

Those are rather fantastic - very well done - do like the little details and all the nooks and crannies which add interest.

Nice work. I too am guilty of the 'Make it, THEN measure' lol lol lol

Really nice builds, well painted too. Lovely work.

Beautiful buildings! Very clean lines. Do you use a hot wire foam cutter to cut
your foam?
-
Beautiful work. How are you able to make such fine cuts?
-
Stunning work!

They look bloody good!

These are superb. Your foam cutting skills are seriously impressive. And particularly the two big buildings are really interesting structures: all sorts of nooks and crannies and features.

They do look good. I'm way too lazy to build my own terrain like that. But I admire the work of those who do... :D
