Hello guys
Given recent world events i have gone into my longer term interest of a return to black powder gaming - my longer term FIW project is starting to find its feet, i am hoping to start solo gaming muskets and tomahawks.
I want a winter theme to these games, ideally on a 4 x 4 mat, i bought a PVC mat for desert/my mexican cartel stuff of ebay last year and it was aweful. Probably more suitable for some 40k game with orcs on Mars or something!
I also bought a two sided desert and greenland mat a year or so ago, whilst its not "bad" its not the same as the photos on the internet!
I defo want mouse mat material, can anybody recommend something they have seen in teh flesh so to speak?

Deepcut studios mats are excellent, and come in various sizes (including 4x4) and cloth, PVC or mouse mat material.
I counted 7 different winter mats which might be suitable.

The Deep Cut mouse mats are excellent quality - I’ve used their winter mats in my Game of Thrones project, and am v.pleased with the result.

Thanks for the replies - just they are quite a hit on the pocket if i get them wrong and the wargame conventions do not seem to have started up again my neck of the woods yet >

I started figure painting after a 30 year layoff first lockdown - I used to use an upside down subetto table cloth on top of books, then evolved to green grass floor tiles out my grandads sale room, for me table tops in the 80s. Happy memories!
