Title: AAR En Garde Teutonic Order vs Polish Crown
Post by: MaaX on May 14, 2022, 11:13:08 AM
Hi all,

We recently played second game of our En Garde campaign. In this scenario the Teutonic Order who lost the first engagement had to escort a bear. This bear is going to be a gift for a local lord in order to secure his support. I arranged the table to represent hills, forests and few roads.

Polish forces deployed first blocking two roads with Mounted Knight and pair of crossbowmen on each road. Teutonic order then deployed on the far left with intention to rush to the far left edge of the Polish deployment zone.

Polish knight on the left side rushed with support of the crossbows. This knight took out some spears men and eventually fell outnumbered.

On the other side Teutonic order crossbowmen scored good hits on Poles.

The knight charged crossbowmen being already grievously wounded and was slain by them.

Teutonic forces moved out to keep Crown's men engaged so the bear handler could sneak to the left.

The game ended with a win for Teutonic order and the overall result for the campaign is 1:1.
