Hi there,
A couple of months ago I saw a great dragon miniature that was crawling on all fours. It came with two types of heads (scales). It was pricey and I was broke at the time. Now I have a little more money and it would be a fantastic addition to my fantasy world. Can anyone help or at least steer me in the right direction? I would e appreciative.
Thank you

With or without wings?
Metal?
-
thee miniature had wings and I believe it was resin.

This is the one I thought of first, which ticks most of your boxes, but there's only one head so I guess it's not the one you mean.
But, it's doubtless one of the greatest dragons of recent times, so if you can't find the other one... ;)

The optional wings are sold separately: https://www.oakbound.co.uk/product/aedwyrm-wing-kit/

Was it the Westfalia Miniatures Cat Dragon? It's out of stock right now (although they're casting up more to cover orders) and I don't know if it has head options or not.

The Westfalia one was my guess as well. They are delayed in fulfilling the kickstarter for that one as their resin caster got badly injured.
-
I like the wings folded design, makes for a smaller footprint. A lovely piece.
-
From memory the base is still pretty massive. I backed the kickstarter so should eventually have one in hand.
-
Heresy did a kickstarter and their dragon does have an alternative head option. This is some serious money

Thank you everyone, you have made my world a more fantastic place.

There was a nice crawling dragon by Oathsworn but doesn't seem to be in there catalogue any more.

Funnily enough I've been very tempted by that one, it's got a great old school vibe.

Indeed!
Almost but not quite the Citadel Great Horned Dragon from back in the day.

It certainly does!
Wish that I had not seen it now as it doth tempt me.....

Me too!

Hello all,
Just received my Oakbound dragon, fantastic! Well worth it if you want a old school beastie, and after doing a dry run the casting is flawless. Next to no putty will be needed. Very impressed.

According to my copy of "Fantasy Modeling" No5 (1981) there is "a stalking dragon with pussycat moves" available from Ral Partha and they even have a fax number in here somewhere:

Oh, that Blackwolf!
He is a bad man, I tell ya!

Hahaha…maniacally!

It's not a winged thing, but I like the Arcworlde/Warp Miniatures Dragon (https://www.warpminiatures.com/collections/arcworlde-classics-monsters/products/first-edition-fire-dragon) that I have (not painted yet). Unfortunately it's not available anymore, apparently, but this one is a close match, it only has the dramatic base added & modded pose which mine didn't have. My version came with alternate heads, one regular one like in the picture, and one 'beardy' one which has an oriental vibe to it.

Think Northstar Miniatures also has some kind of dragon in their Oathmark range.

You're a bad influence! I'm liking that dragon a lot.
I also found some nice images online where someone has used it as a mount. It looks great.

That’s a brilliant model! And funnily enough the comments have made me bring mine ahead in the queue!
-
It's surprising how different it looks in green to the brown colour scheme on the website. Both look good.
-
And it’s out of stock :o

That's a relief

As a consolation I just placed an order with Ral Partha Europe and one of their crawling dragons (http://www.ralparthaeurope.co.uk/shop/fantasy-warband-rpg-minis-28mm-c-181/monsters-and-beasts-c-181_206/01710-hunting-dragon-p-4445.html).
Not quite as big but definitely a nice model.
