Title: How to make a Japanese BRIDGE
Post by: dioramabox on May 20, 2022, 09:34:20 PM
Hello again, here I am posting a new tutorial on how to make a typical Japanese bridge. It can be used for dioramas or scenery for wargames. I hope you like it, I had a great time doing it. Thank you very much!!

Very nice but I still don’t understand where you get the 3,000 miniature prisoners of war.

Very impressive results - and a great tutorial video. I really enjoyed listening to it, even though I don’t understand more than the odd word (which I think I have learnt from my Vallejo paints - so i hope you are speaking Spanish!)

One question - how do you cut the curves for the bridge rails?

Thank you very much for the comment. The video has English subtitles, it may have errors but they can help you.
To cut it in curve is a bit laborious:
First I drew a circle with the curvature I want for the bridge. Then I cut it on the "Proxxon" using the curved cutting tool, but if you don't have it you can make a template out of paper or cardboard and use it as a guide to cut. And then I make the same cut but with a smaller diameter and so I get a strip of the thickness I need.
Is easier than it looks like. It can also be cut with a cutter, but you have to do it very slowly and then sand the surface a little so that it is very smooth and with the perfect curve.

Thank you very much!!!
