I am trying to find an article about Morgan's Raid on Panama. I believe it was in either Wargames Illustrated or Wargames Soldiers & Strategy magazines but it might have been part of an Osprey book. I'm pretty sure there was an accompanying painting showing some of the cattle involved in the raid, possibly in the background of the painting.
If anyone can identify the articles and the issue (if one of the magazines), I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!

I'm guessing it's Osprey's 'Buccaneers 1620-1700', with this Angus McBride painting as the illustration you're talking about.

Wargames Illustrated issue 38 from November 1990 had an article "The burning of Panama, Morgans raid" I don't have the issue to hand, so can't comment on the specifics.

Someone already found it in the 2019 thread 1671 Morgan attack in Panama (https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=118488.0). Let me check...
Yep,
I found at least one illustration, by Angus McBride, of Morgan's Panama raid. It is in an Osprey 'triptych' of three Osprey pirate books, entitled Pirates: Terror on the High Seas, looks like from 2001.
lol
But seriously, maybe that thread is worth re-checking. It had a bunch of nice references and I even posted some of my first hand experiences there. ;)

Overlord - not sure if that was the article I was looking for but it will get me there so thank you.
Doimot - that was me but not the article I was looking for but an image that accompanied some information that provided information on the militia uniforms. I will have to take a look, though, might add other information for a game I am hosting at a July convention - loosely based on Morgan's raid on Panama.
