How many?
Painted, unpainted?
Based?
UK animals or others?
I might be able to help. :)

There’s a nice plastic sprue set available.

GB did some for Saga.

Another vote here for the Warlord Games plastic farmyard animals set. Lots of animals of various types, pretty good value, and plastic.
You get two sprues in the box, both the same, so if you only need a few it might be better to get just one sprue from eBay or a sprue seller.

According to their website (Warlord), it seems you get one sprue (£9.00):

Another vote for Pegasus. Dirt cheap and everything you need for a farm in one box.

Got a link for them?

Redoubt/Body's Bits had a really good selection that included the usual suspects and ducks, chickens etc and foxes.

If the Warlord box is the one I'm thinking of, the minis - from my experience, were very small. Suitable perhaps for proper 25mm, but I recall my buddy buying a set and painting them up and they were absolutely tiny compared to a modern "28mm" style fantastical miniature. So, maybe someone can post some scale comparisons?
For a more 28mm+ (possibly heroic) there are some decent Wizkids pre-primed things like oxen. Not sure on their scale, though.

Warbases do quite a range extending to rare breeds.

Here’s a review. Be careful that they come in two scales, IIRC 1:48 and 1:72. I understand it’s the same models in both boxes, just - obvs - different sizes.
