Cardinals guard!!! But no match for a musketeer!!

Lovely work, great colours, bright enough but still realistic looking
-
I wondered how you were going to do the guards - and that works, well done 8)
-
Lovely, like in the movies of my youth!
-
Great looking figures. And very useful to see the WIP shots, really helps see how you build up to the finished model from the initial block colours.
-
Thanks guys I’m working on the 3 other musketeers and a major villain now

Love the black and red colour scheme.
And that’s Rochefort to a tee lol

Lovely figures and great painting.
-
Thankyou so much everyone! I’ve really got the painting bug at the moment, these figures are just so lovely to paint!
-
Brilliant use of the original figures. They paint up perfectly with a little artistic licence and your Rochefort is perfect :)
-
Cheers nick!
-
Wonderful stuff. A great choice of figures for the characters. Can't wait to see Rochefort with some paint on. :-* :-*
-
Rochefort, bit of a conversion, head swap , eyepatch and feathers added to hat, went for a more subdued red for his coat as his trousers are the same red as the guards
-
Excellent job Andy :)
Did you manage to swap the original head onto the chap waving his helmet in the air? ;)
-
Thanks! I’m loving these figures
Did you manage to swap the original head onto the chap waving his helmet in the air? ;)

Where did the doner head come from?
The kebab shop? ;)
It’s the head off the Bloody militant waving his helmet in the air unless I’m much mistaken.

Terrain will hopefully be buildings/tables/canopies etc with plenty of options for jumping/swinging/flipping tables etc

Couple of carts for my 3 musketeer games

Captain Treville of the Kings musketeers and trooper cornered by the cardinals guard , again bloody miniatures, excellent figures to paint, I’ve got 4 more to do but they are more suited to the English civil war, next up will be some hired ruffians/bandit types for ambushes etc

The full set of figures so far on the display board
