This was going to be a two part battle, with the first contest covering the attack by 46 Royal Marine Commando and the Ft Garry Horse on the village of le Hamel on June 11, 1944. As soon as I construct a suitable graveyard I'll run the Rots battle.
The 2 Commonwealth players had a troop of Shermans and 1 Commando Troop each. The defending German had a very weak 2 platoon company and 2 PaK40s.
All the info for this game came from the incredible The Waist High Cornfield book by Keith Taylor Written as a tribute to his dad, Eric Taylor and other members of the 46 RMC.

That’s a good looking game! I keep meaning to do IABSM in 6 mill, this is just the thing to get me going

Ditto that, I am inspired every time I see one of these 6mm IABSM games - beautiful figures and tables and the games seem to play well.
