Title: Source of a palanquin
Post by: dadlamassu on June 11, 2022, 07:23:00 PM
For a scenario I am looking for a Roman or Greek (ish) palanquin ideally open with an aristocratic lady upon it though a semi closed one would do.  A google search was not much help but a google image search yielded to likely models  but I cannot find their sources or even if the images are for 28mm figures (below).  UK source preferred.

Any suggestions?

This is a model of Queen Olympias.
I found it here:

Here is one of my version from my In the Street of Rome project (right here (https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=63629.120)):

made from :

2 slaves (ex Redoubt slingers)
A Warlord bed converted into litter in the most simple way.
The roman lady (Warlord) is missing.

And here is the 2 seats version with the warlord lady :

A pretty elaborate (3D-printed) one is shown on Etsy in 28mm, with canopy: at 'Dungeon Artefacts, Empire of Scorching Sands.'

Iron Gate Scenery do these under "litter".

I wanted to buy the Etsy models already printed, but it appears as though they will be shipped from outside the UK.
Cost is fine for the model but postage is massive cost.

I found a lovely one with four bearers on their knees ready for the VIP to dismount.

Shame.

Does anyone have a file (or files) for 3D printing any of these?
