Post by: 10thMountain on June 12, 2022, 10:52:16 PM
Hello,
Has anyone tried gaming the Indo Pak War circa 1970, in 28mm?
Thank you

No but I’ve been tempted to do the 1971 war. With some head swaps and possibly the addition of packs from TAG, Warlord or the Perry range you could produce passable Indians. The Bangladeshi liberation forces could come from the Perry metal 8th Army in linf trousers.

Pakistanis are a bit trickier but many of the troops fighting in East Pakistan (Bangladesh) seem to have been equipped with Type 56 AKM clones. A number of the Eureka Zanla range come in boots and carry AKs so with US helmets you could probably manage a decent proxy.

It’s another one of those conflicts that really could benefit from a dedicated range.

Oops forgot to mention the donor bodies for the Indians: Eureka's Aden Brits.
