Can anyone tell me if they wore the Kasket or the new helmet in this campaign?

in 1799 they wore both..kasket from 1792 was still in use and, in my opinion, prevalent. To differentiate them from Napoleonic period mine ar all French Revolution Austrians from Foundry. the following plates are from Trainé's beatiful OOP book while the following link get you to a book from 18c. including every uniform of the Austrian Army of 1796..they still wore kasket see last plate from this very book which is my main pictorial source for the period.

Many thanks. I will use my 15mm 1792 figures. Will save me buying those with helmets.

They did still wear the old kasket, maybe some regiment already had the new helmet but I would use the 1792 austrian jnfantry.
Newly raised units as the Bussy mounted jäger and the (9?) new jägerbattallions received the new uniform.
