Title: 15mm “TinTin”?
Post by: NickNascati on July 09, 2022, 02:21:01 PM
All,
While waiting for Mark Copplestone’s toys soldiers to be released, I’m still pondering sticking with 15mm.  With the whole TinTin vibe of his range, finding suitable proxies for TinTin and company in 15mm, would be great.  Any ideas?

a bit of chopping of Rebel Mini's pulp newsboy might give you Tintin.

and the 'Chinese' figure in their Pulp heroes looks like one of Tintin's costumes.

The one on the left resembles Calculus.

The various pulp ranges have Trilby wearing detectives - Thomson & Thompson (or is it the other way around?) are sometimes shown wearing them, rather than bowlers, which seem far rarer.

For Haddock, perhaps Peter Pig's 8th Army Higher Command

Thanks.  I’ve decided to stand firm and buy into Copplestone’s toy soldiers when they are released.
