Title: Modifying Heroclix Figures with Green Stuff?
Post by: Mako on July 17, 2022, 01:11:07 AM
Does Green Stuff, Brown Stuff, and other modeling putties readily adhere to the Heroclix plastics, or will I need to pin the figures and then add the putty over/around that in order to get it to adhere permanently?

Are there any other materials/techniques I should be aware of for converting and/or reposing Heroclix figs in order to provide more variety to a limited number of minis, e.g. using one figure to create a whole squad of them, and modifying them so they don't all look like clones of one another.?

I've done a bunch of GS additions to Clix figures, and never had an issue.  It works fine.
Depending on the material it's made from, there's several different materials they used, you can sometimes bend the figures by heating them.
All of the material types bond really fast, and really well with krazy glue.

Yeah, I don't see why it wouldn't work. Maybe if you use something more clay-based see that the surface is de-greased, but otherwise - go ahead. :)

Thank you for the replies and info.

I'll have to give it a try.
