These are from Duncan Shadow .
Very nice minis & in parts so would be great for 28mm games like Silver bayonet.
I got parts from other models so as to make them more modern as the minis are equipped for fantasy ( e.g. bows ) though the knives can be used in any setting.
Again as I said before, I print 18mm as whole minis. Quite like how they came out & will do more with daggers & an Hmg, perhaps.
The metal mini is an 18mm GZG model.

Yes Dan, if you zoom in you'll see the print lines. He does have a great face.
Cook, I used to but not anymore, I use resin for minis & PLA ( if I need bases quickly ) for bases. These are PLA, 19 or 20mm diameter.

I am working on having different colored cultist, I like to have a mix of cults however there are times when to factions collide or join forces that your group have to deal with.

I am doing horde type opponents , bit by bit.
Just to have a sizeable amount & variety which can be used at one go, then just reuse the dead ones.
These are ready (or almost ready).
Scifi Zombies,
Tyranid type aliens,
Killer Robots ( various types & still ongoing )
Insects large & swarms.
Herbivore herd.
Goons.
These are still to be done
Cultists,
Necron type scarabs swarms,
Feral raptors,
Any ideas for more variations ?

Do you have any pack type animals like wolves? Or any large beast? I don't know what rules you may be looking at to use them in. However, there is a shortage of large type beast IMO in 15mm range.

You could do a sci-fi version of Werewolves and Vampires or some form of Necromancers Oh how about Cyborgs! I have always wanted to do a group of failed attempts of Cyborgs like these.

I think I can mix in wolfmen , could also try to make some with brownstuff.
Cyborgs? I suppose one can mix human + mechanicum but I do have these painted up from micropanzer & these ( not painted yet ) from Alternative armies which should fit the bill.

Dan those are ghouls originally made by O8 now if I'm not mistaken sold by Pico.
They have a nice set of Vatican fighters, also, which would make great antagonists for the cultists. These

Painting resin minis is nice but metal ones are heftier & I prefer them.

Why not ? I mean pets have been around with humans since forever.
But thinking about I could use this chart I made up. Roll dice for random.
1) Species - Terran or Alien ( type feline, avian , reptilian etc )
2) Size - Tiny, small, medium, large, huge.
3) Extra features - Appendages, no of eyes etc.
4) Pros - Very agile, Symbiote / part of organ, Healer, very loyal, empathic, psychic, Intelligent, Cognitive, Sleep endusing ( Cons ? ), Universal Linguist ( if can speak ), Alluring / cannot be resisted, has an irresistible smell/pheromone.
5) Cons - Good for nothing, Noisy/Chatters continuously, Obese, Glutton, Needs to mate often, Slow, Lethargic, Heavy, Very aggressive ( Pros?), territorial/jealous, Kleptomaniac, Habitual Liar or always says the truth ( if can speak ), Very needy or needs constant grooming or special care, Obnoxiously smelly/slimy/ filthy.

Well I envisage her/it to be a demon familiar/pet from another dimension ( can't trust what those cultist dudes are up to ,
but for sure none of it is good !!! ) . DO not be beguiled by those pet eyes, she/it is a demon after all & that can never be a good thing either. ;)
Fantasy - Eyes of beguilement , test vs Willpower or in Scifi - Aura of Innocence - Again test vs Willpower - both result in victim cannot dodge or reduced parry/dodge.
Tentacles - Life Leech reduce HP if failed Constitution test or Sleep Sting - reduce Dex by Die X if failed Constitution test ( if enough hits are made & failed rolls then victim falls comatose )
and then the dastardly cultists get you for their nefarious schemes ( human sacrifice most probably )

and as an addition to the lore..
When still small these demons are deceivingly quite fast but the more they leech the bigger & slower they become. They loose their innocent look and become veritable monsters.
