Was part of the process from casting to painting! A Bob Olley sculpt, I had to paint this guy in an evening and slap some varnish on the next morning for the show! A record for me 😂 here’s a few pics from green, master casting and then production castings to the painted example

Lovely :)

I like that. It has a nice old school feel to it.

Good ole Bob Olley! Great to see he's still cranking out classics like this. Great painting too, regardless of the pressure to get it done quickly.

I saw that in the cabinet on day 2 and thought blimey someone painted that quick lol
Now I know it was an inside job :D It's excellent, really pleased with this year's show mini

Great paint job and in a great time.
You realize that now you've done it once, it will be expected to paint that quick all the time! lol

He is a cracker, mate!

We saw this in the cabinet at BOYL and wondered how someone could get it painted so quickly when Newark has so many pubs to frequent.
On the assumption that you’re one of the secret cabal behind the BOYL figures, I’d like to thank you, your co-conspirators and Wargames Foundry for your generosity. It’s very much appreciated.

Thanks guys, I used one of the master castings as I’m the caster for foundry, it’s a lovely figure, I must admit this years event was the best yet

Brilliant. :)

Really cool. As if BOYL needed yet more draws!
