Title: Spectre: Operations PMC Project
Post by: bishop2k7 on August 09, 2022, 03:49:32 PM
I've been working on a PMC project for Spectre: Operations. While it still has a way to go, I wanted to share what I have so far.

This is intended to be more The Expendables/Action-movie style than straight historical, with villains and evil organizations working behind the scenes.

Solo AAR:

Short AAR of my first test game:

I only have wilderness terrain right now, and want to move towards a more urban setting. So my next step (besides finishing off all the figures on my painting table) is to acquire/build some modern buildings and roads. I already have some civilian and armored vehicles on the way, as I want to try some VIP escort/ambush style missions.

Hope you enjoy!

I will definitely read the AAR - thanks for posting it! I love reading battle reports...  :-*

Simple but effective terrain - is that crashed chopper from Britannia?

I found it on Thingiverse:

Finished another unit today. Not sure how these guys will fit into my storyline, but they're such nice models that they jumped to the front of my painting list.

They are an Israeli Defense Force Special Forces team. Three with Tavor X95s and one with an UZI Pro.

Updated my blog with more photos of the figures above, as well as a couple other figures. Yesterday was a productive painting day.

Very nice all round, the IDF and Criminal heavies are stand outs!  Looking forward to seeing more!  :D

Finished another unit this weekend. These will be used as another team of security contractors. Really happy with how they turned out.

Updated my blog with some more photos: https://randomfiregaming.blogspot.com (https://randomfiregaming.blogspot.com/2022/09/new-operator-team-for-spectre.html)

My project is coming along nicely. I just added some MDF buildings and civilian vehicles to my collection. Still figuring out how I want to paint and finish them. I also have some baddies to paint, and more on the way!

Lovely paint jobs - especially like the IDF.

The security contractors remind me of the not-Battlefield sculpts that Hasslefree released a few years back.

Now those PMC's are some very nicely done minis!  They look great.  Can't wait to see them in action...
