Which is exactly wot Divtroclus, an Athenian Hero, has done!
A very insulted and upset Arichilles mentioned it in passing to his elite Spartan Guard, which set them off too! Gathering a bunch of allied underlings the Spartan King sallied forth to make Divtroclus eat his words. As the two sides close, a finely mounted Divtroclus, taunts his old enemy.
Arichilles turns a contemptuous back on the Athenians, and after combing his hair, leads his elite Spartan Guard in a spirited rendering of...
"We only sing when we're winning!"
:)
The King's roar of...
"Ground spears!"
Has both Spartan and Athenian snapping to attention, and taking a backward step. Divtroclus sees his chance and spurs his warhorse directly at the Spartan King. Valiant as his attack is made, Divtroclus is not fighting an ordinary man, he is fight Arichilles a King of Sparta! Arichilles, darts to one side and drives his spear deep into Divtroclus horse's chest. The animal collapses and Divtroclus is thrown into the dust. Athenians gasp as the King steps in, and plunges his already bloodied spear, through their General's eye socket and then his throat. Divtroclus dies in a welter of blood and gore...
The Spartan King's Honour has been restored!
"Enough men have died already today!" The King shouts. "Go back to your loved ones Athenians, my quarrel is not with you today."
Arichilles' noble words bring harmony where mere minutes before, great discord had abounded. Both sides withdraw and the fight is over.
