Hello all.
Suppose I should at least start the topic for my project. Nothing yet however as I plan to wait till after Saturday to begin my vessel. I suppose by reading the topic heading you have got at least a minor cut of my gib.
So stay tuned for the next transmission folks!

Serenity type mule ???

Naw, I was thinking more along the lines of atmosphere-only.

The Mule is atmospheric, amazingly I can't find a decent pic from the film but here's a lego one that's a great copy.

Sounds cool - looking forward to seeing it (and all the sci-fi miniature goodness that I'm hoping will go along with it!)

Dewbakuk has already answered for me. The mule in Serenity was an atmospheric only , open top skiff. There is a cool chase scene in the flim with it. I am having some trouble finding some decent pictures, all lego ones but there is one other picture further down this page.

Do'oh, face-palm! Darr. And I watch that movie too. I'll have you know most the time I don't even remember how old my siblings are (or my mum for that matter), soo, yeah...
Yes something along those lines but less exposed, crew-wise. Much more cargo space. And guns for fending off the local fauna and maybe the occasional, unpleasant local. I'll see what I can come up with tomorrow. Maybe some drawings and a nice pile of bits for starters.

So we're talking The Mule crossbred with the armoured tanker from Mad Max?
Sounds wonderful to me.

Sorry to put a downer on things, my good men, but I'm going to be putting this thing on hiatus. Been pretty busy with things outside of my miniatures hobby and have been walking past a pile of bits and ideas every day now. Might not make it in time for the deadline but I'll still be making the damned thing at some point.
Maybe a new year's resolution? ;)
