Title: Book recommendations? SAS NWE D-Day onwards
Post by: Poiter50 on September 16, 2022, 03:27:02 PM
Anyone got any recommends for the SAS post D-Day in NWE? I read a chapter of SAS The Italian Job that briefly covers one action and it has coloured me intrigued.

You could try Ben Macintyre's "SAS Rogue Heroes" which covers the whole of the war but can be bought cheaply. More specific to France would be Gavin Mortimer's "SAS in Occupied France June-October 1944" or Paul McKee's "SAS Operation Bulbasket". I haven't read any of them I just know they exist!
