Title: Battle of Lake Trasimene - June 217 BC
Post by: Ninefingers on September 19, 2022, 09:40:41 AM
I thought I would see what it was like to try and put together a scenario based on a military disaster, to see if it could be a game that stretched to all evening.
Take a look on my blog to see what the result was...

That would be about a dozen miles from where I live as the crow flies...

Ninefingers, very nice. I visited the battlesite a few years ago whilst visiting an Italian Company based on the lakeside. My Italian compatriots were amazed that I knew about Roman history and bemused when I asked them to drive the terrain, which is now marked by the trail with display boards, albeit some are missing or so overgrown you can't see them. I may try the same game but using "To the Strongest".
