Title: Copplestone Amazonian tribes figures
Post by: Clive on September 26, 2022, 10:22:17 AM
Hi all.
Copplestone provides feather fans for their Amazonian tribes figures. They don't resemble the headdresses I've tracked down online. How are they attached? Back of head? Top of head? Somewhere else??? lol Any expertise here?

Sure I have seen some people mount them on the figures backs, "angel wing" style... The Eureka amazonian tribes have similar things cast on, perhaps check them for inspiration?

They are attached to the small of the back just above the buttocks

The feather fan was stuck directly to the body using a ball of gum and typically placed, as described by Lowtardog, just above the buttocks on the small of the back. Those feathers were typically grey, as the were from the ema (or rhea if you prefer) which is sort of South American ostrich. Prized trading items.
