Interesting game with Mexicans and Apache, the rules handled the weapons really well. Write up and pictures here:

Always good to see a game that goes off the beaten path for something a bit different.
Kudos.

Very interesting battle and report. And nice job on the re-basing!

Looks like an amazing game! Well done.

Nice game. Now you need to recreate the end scene as a game from the old movie, 1997's Buffalo Soldiers, where the black unit goes up against Vitorrio's forces! Would require a lot of 'artistic' license to make it a good game, though.

Fifyeens away, we do have US cavalry but not the Buffaloe soldiers, that did occur to me to be fair.
Thanks very much for the comments guys.

Interesting to see a different match-up than the usual Apaches vs. US Cavalry.
-
Cheers, the Mexicans did a lot more fighting of the Apache as I understand it so lots more to go with here.
-
Most enjoyable. Thanks for posting.
I do wonder what might have happened if the Apache
left a rearguard facing one Mexican force, and rushed the other. ????? ??? ??? ???
-
On balance I think they could have destroyed my force fairly easily if they had concentrated, but by then Steves Mexicans would have been upon them and things would have got decidedly tricky.
-
Great stuff! I loved the two sleeping during the battle
-
Cheers, yeah they made me chuckle too.
