I received the following email just this evening, and even though I'm normally not one to get involved, I felt I had to just this once. After all, I've been enjoying products from Heresy Miniatures for many years, and I would hate for yet another small but respected and established company to fold.
Do with this what you will, but I did put in an order myself, without redeeming the discount code. I'm not invested or associated with Heresy, but I felt it was the least I could do (that, and posting this of course). I'm hoping many will answer the call and order from Andy; it sounds like he could surely need the support right now...
The "Please buy something" pitch
There's no way to sugar coat this, so here it is: I need your help. Urgently.
Basically, this summer was terrible for orders in general, the worst in my 20 years of trading, in fact and following a disaster in which all of my recent resin moulds were destroyed by a freak incident in August, where some vulcanisable resin entirely bonded with the silicone moulds, I've spent the last 3 months trying to repair damage to those, and at the same time fix problems arising from the Ghouls kickstarter that meant I had to completely remaster the ghouls in metal. This took up all of my time (and has meant that a backlog of what few orders I did get has built up; I must apologise to those of you waiting for your orders from August!)
Meanwhile, all of the cash flow from the Kickstarters has dwindled away and now this month I find myself unable to pay some hefty bills that have come due, to be 100% blunt about it. These are some big bills in total, that pre-Brexit would have been covered by EU orders, but those don't come in any more because of the import charges and so forth, which has hit me for 41% of my turnover since we left.
So I need you to help Heresy Miniatures, after 20 years of trading, simply make it through this month.
Now, this situation is theoretically easily resolved in the short term by, say, 300 of you spending £10 on figures, or on gift vouchers, even if you don't want to get any of the figures themselves. There are loads of cool figures in the ranges that people keep telling me they will order and never do. This might be your last chance to get them if things don't work out. My friends at Antenociti's Workshop ceased trading in June this year out of the blue and it's a terrifying reality for me right now. If all 2,000 of you on this newsletter spent £5 it would make a HUGE difference to my financial situation, but only 19% of you will even open this newsletter, according to the Mailchimp stats.

I had planned to buy some stuff from Reaper this weekend, but they can wait.
Order placed. I've been putting off buying one of the 3-up skeletons, so finally splurged. My only other giant skeleton is one of the original Grenadier ones, and the Heresy one has a bit more movement to it :D
However, his site doesn't make it easy. Those animated GIFs were really getting to me. The fact they were different sizes didn't help, and I missed at least two clicks as the page jumped up and down at random intervals o_o

Yes, poor site but some great figures. Not into the FATC range myself but as the previous seller went out of business these figures could be gone for ever. Shame if you want them.
Other miniatures I do like so bought a few of those. ;)

Just out if interest, has anyone who answered this cry for help received any orders yet?
I've bought from Heresy several times and have no complaints, Andy is a good guy and I appreciate he is up against it at the moment so I expect delays, but the status of my order hasn't changed in a month and I wondered if its the same for everyone.
I know I'll get my toys eventually, it would just be reassuring to know how things are progressing.

Nope, all's quiet on the Heresy front...
Apart from the automated order confirmation, there has been no communication so far. But considering Andy posted even before his cry for help that his work was backed up, and this campaign probably has multiplied his workload by a large margin, I'm not worried just yet.

Like I said, not worried exactly, just curious how things stand. I hope the extra work has paid off though, be good to know if he's at least keeping afloat.

You might want to try reaching out to Beasts of War/On Table Top.
I'm sure they've done these as an indie of the week, and they help support the little guys where they can.
As more ranges, more options are more fun.
So you could ask if they might cover this as an upcoming indie of the week, or a news segment, maybe even post in the forum there.

And just to update, my order has arrived safe and sound with a lovely note. Great little miniatures company, will definitely use them again.

I did get an email dispatch notification on Monday and delivery on the Tuesday. I'd forgotten that Royal Mail can go fast!

Is it common, uncommon or rare knowledge that Andy has two Twitter accounts which fairly often report what's going on with moulds and postal services and homes and whatnot?

Thanks for posting the Twitter links, it does explain things, but honestly how much bad luck can one guy have? It's like every couple of years there's a "Heresy's on its arse" crisis. Its a testament to him that he hasn't just folded it up.

All in all, my little order should turn up at some point.

Mine arrived today! I had dropped Andy a polite reminder by email following one of his tweets. He replied promptly by email and a few days later a little box of very fine metal figures has turned up with a handwritten note apologising for the delay.
For those posters who are awaiting orders but who are professing confidence that they will eventually turn up...I think you are probably right!

Still waiting on the dispatch notification. I keep getting emails telling me I have parcels to be collected, sometimes for prizes to competitions I don't remember entering ;D, but nothing from Heresy :(

I was going to ping Andy to get an update. However, his web site currently says this
20th March - House Move Done At Last! I have now moved house and am free for the first time since January 4th to concentrate on clearing the backlog of orders! Feel free to message me if you are worried your order has been overlooked somehow but I AM slowly clearing the queue!
Where's My Order?
I am STILL catching up - slowly - with the orders after the Great Mould Disaster in August, when all my recent moulds were destroyed by some resin that fused with them. This was months of work down the drain and has caused a nightmare for me. I am STILL making moulds, but now trying to also clear the backlog of orders from September onwards. Hopefully you noticed the warnings when you ordered, but if not, please accept my apologies for the unavoidable delay. A one-man business means the tiniest things going wrong can completely wreck your schedule. (Or for example, if one person needs 20 multi-part resin things casting, there's perhaps a day or two sorting that out just for that one order)
There is still lots and lots of casting to do, too - don't panic if your order hasn't been sent yet, I will send it as soon as I can... you will get an order status update when your order ships via the email address you used when ordering!
I guess I can wait a bit longer...

I just emailed Andy, and he responded within 30 minutes. Apparently there are still quite a few orders from 'that weekend' that have not been fulfilled. He let me know he would be getting right to it, so perhaps it would be smart to do this yourself, as I get the feeling that Andy's not working according to a FIFO system... ;)

I've pinged Andy just to see what's happening. There is still no rush, but several of the figures I ordered back then fit quite nicely with some near future plans, so it would be nice to get them.
And kudos to past me for such foresight in purchases lol

edit: It turns out I did get an email from Andy, at 09:53 this morning :D He said he thought he'd cleared all the orders with skeletons in them last month, but had missed mine.
So, if yours had skeletons in it and you haven't yet received it, it's definitely worth emailing him

The web page refused to let me send a message on its own 'form'.
I then sent a note via Face-book. Got a reply within hours & the figures
arrived a day later!!!
As I had forgotten what I ordered it was a nice surprise opening the parcel.

Just did, and he responded almost instantaneously, stating he would be shipping my order out today. Good to know it wasn't lost in the mail at least.
Then again; we had exactly the same conversation in june, so I won't be holding my breath just yet ::)

The last time I looked on the site, some of the items were still unavailable, awaiting new moulds. It's worth checking (if you can still remember what you ordered after all this time) to see if they are showing as having stock.
I pinged him a month or so ago and got mine about a week later. However, that was only because he'd missed mine when he was sending out orders with skeletons in them

Amongst others, I ordered the big resin/metal giant spider, and apparently this was just cast. So my order was actually shipped yesterday, with sincerest apologies, so it looks like I will finally be able to paint up that armoured Boris after all :D
But it's also evident that Andy's not quite up to speed with the concept of FIFO, bless him lol
