Title: Frostgrave solo
Post by: Doug ex-em4 on October 12, 2022, 04:42:26 PM
I haven’t played FG since 2017 so I’ve forgotten a lot of what I knew, including, have there been solo rules suggestions (I’m sure there must have been) and, most importantly, where to find them. Searching through the Frostgrave sub-board and its attendant sub-sub-boards would take a long time so if anyone can point me in the right direction, I’d be grateful.

Thanks

Doug

I believe the supplement called Perilous Dark was all about solo and co-operative rules for the game, replacing the usual competitive way of playing.

It was.  ROSD is the same and a somewhat different system that allows both too.  It is worth a look.

They both work, but if you're a stickler for terrain, the scenarios are very different, almost needing a new set of terrain for each scenario.

fwiw, I have the unreleased Lasting Tales miniatures skirmish game, and, even though it has 20-some scenarios, the Wilderness and Settlement terrain overlap. (Just add buildings for the village. Thematically, the Dungeon scenarios need their own terrain, though, and RPG dungeon game tiles didn't work out.)
