The latest additions to my VSF Prussian army, inspired by Girl Genius. I present Jagergrupen Vole:

Jagerhauptmann Vole:

Clank:

The Jagermonsters are converted Flintloque figures and human jagers are by Ironclad. The clank was shamelessly copied inspired by Scrapwelder's excellent miniatures - after all, they so say that imitation is the best form of flattery :)

:-* Those are fantastic! Well done.

Clockworktacular, old chap.
The only possible improvement I´d suggest is maybe looking at adding a bit more contrast to the Jägermonsters´ faces. That may help in evening out the sculpting differences between the Ironclad and AA stuff. Not much, just a hint of shade beneath the eyes and nose, and maybe around the mouth.
But the uniform colours and shading turned out wonderful.

Are you sure Jägerhauptmann Vole shouldn't be called Jägerhauptfrau Vole? There's some serious camel toe action going on there! :D
Those rank and file monsters aren't really my bag (and I'm referring to the figures themselves rather than your treatment of them), but I love the human Jägers, and Herr/Frau Vole is most impressive and striking.

These are friggin' gorgeous. My jealousy knows no bounds - what is the clank made from?

Ahhh, now I see it. Clever. (why didn't I think of that?) :o

Unfortunately the lighting conditions when I took the photos didn't do justice to the jagers. I will re-work their skin with wash/shading at some point, but in the meantime they will do as they are for what should hopefully be their first action next weekend.

cor those are great
brilliant :D

Nice work Bullshott. Looking forward to seeing them in the flesh.
Funnily enough I was thinking of putting a unit of freaks together for the Brits in their offworld adventures but still working on ideas.

Bloody lovely, mate. :-*
(Haven't read Girl Genius in ages, must get back into it soon...)
-
Absolutely fantastic. Very well done and Nice Hatz!
-
Lovely, but I think Vole needs a bit more to his hat, maybe feathers or a pom-pom? Or perhaps a sign that says Hauptmann.

You could be right there Dean. I will have to add some bling to the hat after BLAM ;)
-
I don't know what these are, but they look great, very cartoonish :)
-
They are Flintloque figures IIRC
-
HA! Wonderfully done!!! :)
-
Very, very nice Dave, looking forward to seeing them on friday :)
-
The jagermonsters are indeed minor conversions of Flintloque orcs, plus a converted Flintloque ogre for Jagerhauptmann Vole.... and yes, they are cartoonish, but that means they are perfect for representing jagermonsters (being inhaitants of the wold of the Girl Genius online comic series).

Now where is the Baron Wulfenbach?

Now where is the Baron Wulfenbach?
Good resurrection; hoping it'll bring more developments...
However, I'm more interested in where's CASTLE Wulfenbach? lol
