Yay! War of 1812! :D Great armies! You did a wonderful job on the US Regulars and Rifles. I really do like the Royal Marines and ship's gigs.
Fun fact about Baltimore in the War of 1812: Our National Anthem is a poem about the British failure to burn the city to the ground, sung to an English drinking tune. It was first "performed" by an out-of-work actor in a tavern a couple of months after the poem was published. Everybody thought it was a funny joke, and kept repeating it. So yes, the US' national anthem is the 19th Century equivalent of an Internet meme.
I love the War of 1812 because it lets you do Napoleonics without having to wade into the long and boring arguments of the "experts" about politics and tactics and combat effectiveness. :roll: War of 1812 is simple: Both sides make impressive series of blunders and the whole thing is a draw. But there are lots of nifty units like militia and rifles and Indians and Marines. :)
